What is Opportunity Radar?

Opportunity Radar is nxtleap's Chrome extension for the part of a job search that happens in the browser. It does four things. It saves jobs and hiring posts from LinkedIn and five other job boards, keeping the full description even after the listing is taken down. It spots "we're hiring" posts in your LinkedIn feed as you scroll, so roles that never become listings don't slip past. It autofills job applications on Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and most company career pages, including drafted answers to open-ended questions. And it tracks every role in one pipeline, with the description, your match score and the resume you sent attached. Everything runs from your nxtleap Achievement Bank, the career history you build once, so each capture, tailored resume and application draws on the same source. The extension is free, submitting is always left to you, and sensitive EEO answers never leave your device.

What the extension does

Save any job in one click

Click Capture on a LinkedIn job, the jobs list, a single post or a feed post. It saves the role, company, location, application link and full job description. If a post lists several openings, you pick which to keep, and you can edit before anything is saved.

Catch hiring posts before they scroll away

As you browse LinkedIn, "we're hiring" posts collect in the extension popup, with the ones matching your target roles first. The list stays in your browser until you choose to save a post.

Know your fit before you apply

Each saved role gets a match score against your Achievement Bank, so forty saved jobs become a ranked shortlist. One click opens a resume tailored to that role, in the posting's own language.

Fill the application in seconds

On the application form, the extension fills contact details, work history, education, skills and links from your profile, and drafts answers to open questions for you to edit. It remembers answers you give often, like notice period, and steps through multi-page forms. You press submit.

Track every role to offer

Saved, applied, interviewing: every role keeps its description, match score and the resume you sent. The popup counts the applications you've sent with nxtleap.

Start from your LinkedIn profile

On your own LinkedIn profile, import your experience and education into your Achievement Bank, reviewing each entry first. The extension can also draft LinkedIn connection notes using on-device AI or your own AI key.

Job application autofill that reads the form

Most autofill tools match field names and HTML IDs, which break when an employer customises its Workday or Greenhouse setup. Opportunity Radar reads a form the way a person does: the labels, the context around each field and how fields are grouped. That's why it works across employers on the same ATS without per-employer setup. It handles dropdowns and multi-page applications, and lists any field it couldn't map so you can fill it yourself.

For open questions like "Why do you want to work here?", it drafts an answer from your own experience, with a word count and a regenerate button. Factual fields such as your address are always filled from your data, never drafted. More on the mechanics in how to autofill job applications.

Why save hiring posts, not just job listings?

Many roles are announced by a hiring manager on LinkedIn before, or instead of, a job listing. Those posts are gone from your feed within a day and never reach a job board. Opportunity Radar collects them in the popup as you scroll, flags the ones that match your target roles, and turns any of them into a tracked role in one click.

What happens to my data?

Nothing reaches your nxtleap account until you click to save or autofill. Sensitive EEO answers are filled on your device only. If you add your own OpenAI, Google or Anthropic key, it stays in your browser and is never sent to nxtleap. Full detail is in the privacy policy. Common questions about Opportunity Radar

Is Opportunity Radar free?

Yes. The extension is free, and the free nxtleap plan includes unlimited job saving and tracking in Opportunity Radar, with no credit card. Premium adds unlimited tailored resumes, cover letters and PDF export.

Does it apply to jobs automatically?

No. It fills the form and you review and submit it. It can step through multi-page applications if you turn that on, but it never clicks submit.

Which job sites does it work on?

Saving works on LinkedIn (job pages, the jobs list, single posts and feed posts), Naukri, Indeed, Glassdoor, Instahyre and Wellfound. Autofill works on Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, iCIMS, SmartRecruiters and Taleo, plus most company career pages.

Can it answer open-ended application questions?

It drafts answers to open-ended questions from your own experience, and you edit them before submitting. It also remembers answers you give often, like notice period, so later forms fill themselves.

Can it save LinkedIn hiring posts, not just job listings?

Yes. It spots "we're hiring" posts in your LinkedIn feed and lists them in the popup. One click saves a post as a tracked role; if it names several openings, you choose which to keep.

Does the extension track my browsing?

No. It doesn't collect browsing history. Hiring posts it spots stay in your browser until you save one, and on application forms it reads the fields only to offer autofill.

What happens to sensitive fields like gender or disability status?

EEO fields (gender, date of birth, disability, veteran status, race and ethnicity) are filled on your device and never sent to nxtleap or any AI provider. SSN, passport numbers and payment details are never stored or filled.

Can I import my LinkedIn profile?

Yes, from your own LinkedIn profile only. Your experience and education are imported into your Achievement Bank, and you review every entry first.

Do I need a nxtleap account?

Yes, a free one. It holds the Achievement Bank and profile that power match scores, tailored resumes and autofill.

Which browsers are supported?

Google Chrome, version 116 or later.

Your next role is in your LinkedIn feed right now.

Save it before it scrolls away, and apply in minutes when you're ready.
