LinkedIn Saved Jobs: Where to Find Them on Desktop and in the App
Find your saved jobs on LinkedIn in three clicks on desktop or the app, see the jobs you applied for, and know why a saved job can vanish overnight.
By Amit Kumar
Your LinkedIn saved jobs are in the Job tracker. On desktop, click Jobs in the top bar, then Job tracker in the left panel (some accounts still label it My jobs), and open the Saved tab. In the LinkedIn app, tap Jobs, then Job tracker at the top of the screen. The same tracker has an Applied tab for jobs you've applied to.
That covers most visits to this page. The rest explains the four tracker tabs, why a saved job sometimes won't open, how to see jobs you applied for outside LinkedIn, and when a saved list stops being enough to run a job search.
How to find saved jobs on LinkedIn (desktop)
- Sign in at linkedin.com and click Jobs (the briefcase icon) in the top navigation.
- In the left panel, click Job tracker. If your account hasn't received the rename yet, it says My jobs instead.
- Open the Saved tab. Your saved jobs are listed newest first, with the company, location and when each was posted.
- Click any job to reopen the full listing, as long as the employer hasn't closed it.
Shortcut: at the time of writing (October 2026), the older address linkedin.com/my-items/saved-jobs/ forwards to the Job tracker, so it's worth bookmarking. LinkedIn changes these paths without notice, so use the menu if it stops working.
How to find saved jobs in the LinkedIn app
- Open the LinkedIn app and tap Jobs in the bottom bar.
- Tap Job tracker (or My jobs) near the top of the Jobs screen.
- The Saved tab opens by default. Pull down to refresh if a job you saved on desktop isn't showing yet.
Saved jobs sync between desktop and the app, because they belong to your account, not your device. If they don't match, check that you're signed in to the same account on both. People who use a work and a personal LinkedIn login are the usual case.
How to see the jobs you applied for on LinkedIn
Open the Job tracker the same way and switch to the Applied tab. Jobs you applied to with Easy Apply appear there automatically, and many show a status such as 'Application viewed' once the employer opens your application.
Jobs you applied to on the company's own site are different. LinkedIn only knows about them if you confirm it, usually when it asks whether you applied after you come back from the employer's page. Skip that prompt and the job never reaches the Applied tab. That's why the Applied list is almost always shorter than the number of applications you actually sent.
What each Job tracker tab means
| Tab | What's in it | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Saved | Jobs you bookmarked with the Save button | Saves a link to the listing, not a copy of it |
| In progress | Applications you've started but not finished | Not every account shows this tab yet |
| Applied | Easy Apply applications, plus off-site ones you confirmed | Off-site applications you didn't confirm are missing |
| Archived | Jobs you archived and older applications | Archiving hides a job; it doesn't delete it |
How to save, unsave and archive a job
- Save: open any job listing and click Save next to the Apply button. In the app, tap the bookmark icon.
- Unsave: click Saved again on the listing, or use the three-dot menu on the job in your tracker.
- Archive: use the same three-dot menu in the tracker. It's the tidy option for roles you've ruled out but may want to look up later.
Saving is private. The employer sees your application if you send one, but not that you saved the job.
Why a saved job disappears or won't open
The most common reason is that the employer closed the listing. LinkedIn's Saved tab keeps a link to the posting, not a copy, so once the role is filled or taken down, the description and the apply button go with it. The entry may linger for a while with a 'No longer accepting applications' notice, then drop off.
This catches people at the worst moment: three weeks after applying, the recruiter calls, and the job description you need to prepare from is gone. If a role matters, keep your own copy of the description the day you save it. A paste into a document works, or a tracker that stores the full text for you (more on that below).
Other causes are rarer. You may be signed in to a different account, the tracker label may have changed under you (My jobs → Job tracker), or you may have archived the job by accident. Check the Archived tab before assuming it's gone.
When LinkedIn's saved list stops being enough
For a light search, with a handful of saved roles and mostly Easy Apply, the built-in tracker is fine and you don't need anything else. It starts to strain once the search is active:
- Descriptions vanish when listings close, usually right before you need them for an interview.
- Off-site applications go missing unless you confirmed each one, so Applied undercounts your real pipeline.
- Hiring posts aren't jobs. Roles announced in a hiring manager's feed post can't be saved to the tracker at all.
- Nothing ties a job to what you sent. You can't see which resume version went to which company, or how well you matched the role.
If you recognize two or more of those, the fix is a tracker that keeps its own copy of each role. The setup is covered in how to track jobs from LinkedIn without a spreadsheet, and the stages to run it through are in how to build a job search pipeline. nxtleap's free Opportunity Radar Chrome extension does this in one click on LinkedIn job pages and hiring posts. It saves the full description and keeps the role in a saved → applied → interviewing pipeline, whichever site you applied on.
Frequently asked questions
Where are saved jobs on LinkedIn?
In the Job tracker. On desktop click Jobs, then Job tracker (or My jobs on some accounts) in the left panel, then the Saved tab. In the app tap Jobs, then Job tracker at the top. The old linkedin.com/my-items/saved-jobs/ address also forwards there.
Why can't I see my saved jobs on LinkedIn?
Usually because the employer closed the listing, which removes the description and eventually the saved entry. Also check that you're signed in to the right account, that you opened the Saved tab rather than Applied, and that the job wasn't moved to Archived.
How do I see the jobs I applied for on LinkedIn?
Open the Job tracker and choose the Applied tab. Easy Apply applications appear automatically. Applications sent on a company's own site only appear if you confirmed to LinkedIn that you applied.
Can employers see that I saved their job on LinkedIn?
No. Saving a job is private to you. An employer sees your application once you submit one, not the save.
Do LinkedIn saved jobs expire?
The save itself doesn't expire, but the listing does. When an employer closes or removes a posting, the saved entry loses its description and apply button. Copy the description somewhere you control if you may need it later.
