As a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand, BECO aims to make the world a better place, one home at a time. ## Job Summary The Senior Video Editor will be a key member of the Brand and Marketing team, responsible for editing engaging long-form videos for YouTube and creating compelling short-form content such as Shorts and Reels. The role requires a creative storyteller with technical expertise in video editing, animation, sound design, and colour correction, who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to support BECO’s marketing objectives and brand storytelling. ## Responsibilities - **Long-Form Editing:** Edit long-form YouTube videos with a focus on narrative structure, pacing, and viewer retention. - **Short-Form Editing:** Contribute to the creation of Shorts and Reels by adapting long-form footage or shooting new content tailored for quick consumption. - **Content Versatility:** Edit across various formats including comedy, user-generated content (UGC), interviews, product demonstrations, and lifestyle videos. - **Technical Craft:** Apply basic animation, sound design, sound mixing, and colour correction to enhance video quality. - **Storytelling & Timing:** Incorporate strong storytelling, comedic timing, and visual pacing to create engaging content. - **Fast-Paced Execution:** Work efficiently within tight deadlines, managing multiple projects and incorporating iterative feedback. ## Qualifications - 3-5 years of professional experience in editing long- and short-form social media content. - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. - Demonstrated experience editing comedy content, UGC, interviews, product demos, and lifestyle videos. - Basic knowledge of sound design, sound mixing, and colour correction. - Experience with basic animation techniques. - Strong storytelling skills and a keen eye for visual pacing. - Educational qualification: Relevant degree or diploma in Film Editing, Multimedia, or related fields preferred. ## Preferred Skills - Experience using AI tools for generating visuals and animations. - Experience leading content shoots. - Familiarity with current social media trends, meme culture, and viral content formats. - Ability to create engaging hooks, fast-paced edits, and dynamic graphics. ## Experience - 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in video editing for social media platforms, with a portfolio showcasing YouTube long-form content, Shorts, and Reels. ## Environment - Location: Mumbai - Dadar - Work setting: In-office environment with a dynamic, fast-paced team. - Environmental conditions: Office-based with standard working hours; may require quick turnaround on multiple projects. ## Salary - Not specified ## GrowthOpportunities - Opportunities for career advancement within the marketing and creative teams. - Potential to develop expertise in new editing techniques, animation, and content strategy. ## Benefits - Not specified
