Ingredient R&D & Analytical Product Development Expert ## Company Overview **Well-established B2B ingredients & specialty chemicals manufacturer** serving global fragrance, flavour, pharma, FMCG and other industries. This is a hands-on role focused on **analysing customer samples, developing the composition, and replicating products for commercialisation**. ## Job Summary The role involves hands-on research and development in the field of ingredients and specialty chemicals, focusing on analyzing customer samples, developing formulations, and replicating products for commercial use. The position contributes to the company's goal of delivering innovative and high-quality B2B ingredients to global industries such as fragrance, flavor, pharma, and FMCG. ## Responsibilities - Analyze customer and competitor samples to understand composition and formulation. - Develop and optimize ingredient formulations for various applications. - Conduct analytical testing using laboratory equipment to ensure product quality and consistency. - Take products from initial sample analysis through formulation, trial runs, and customer approval. - Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure formulations meet specifications. - Maintain detailed documentation of development processes, test results, and formulation adjustments. ## Qualifications - Hands-on experience in **Ingredient R&D, Product Development, or Formulation**. - Proven experience analyzing and replicating customer or competitor samples. - Strong understanding of **raw materials, composition, and formulation techniques**. - Practical experience with **analytical/testing equipment**. - Background in **aroma chemicals, essential oils, menthol, fragrance/flavour ingredients, or specialty chemicals**. - Experience taking a product from sample to analysis, formulation, trials, and customer approval. - Educational qualifications: **BSc, BTech, MSc, or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields**. - R&D, Technical, Production, or QC professionals with relevant product development exposure are considered. ## Preferred Skills - Experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of analytical techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, etc. - Ability to work independently and troubleshoot formulation issues. - Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Willingness to relocate and work at the Sambhal plant. ## Experience - Relevant experience in **ingredient R&D, formulation, or analytical testing**. - Experience in the **fragrance, flavor, pharma, or specialty chemicals industries** is preferred. - Practical, hands-on technical experience is essential. ## Environment - Factory-based work environment in **Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh**. - Hands-on laboratory and production setting. - Physical work involving handling chemicals and operating analytical equipment. - Willingness to work on-site at the manufacturing facility. ## Salary 10-12 LPA ## GrowthOpportunities Not specified. ## Benefits Not specified.
