Currently, the team comprises approximately 10 members and is experiencing rapid growth. ## Job Summary The DevOps / Platform Engineer at Illuminati Consulting will be responsible for owning and managing the infrastructure and deployment lifecycle of AI-powered applications. This role involves working closely with AI and engineering teams to develop reliable, scalable, and production-ready environments, ensuring seamless transition from development to deployment and production. The engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure solutions that support cutting-edge AI applications, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. ## Responsibilities - Design and establish development, staging, and production environments tailored for AI applications. - Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure scalability and reliability. - Build and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI for automated build, testing, and deployment processes. - Architect deployment solutions focusing on scalability, high availability, low latency, and system reliability. - Configure and manage APIs, webhooks, gateways, and integrations to facilitate seamless application connectivity. - Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to ensure applications are production-ready from the development stage. - Manage secrets, environment configurations, access controls, and deployment settings securely. - Establish logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks to maintain system health and performance. - Support performance testing, production hardening, release management, and go-live activities. - Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and production issues promptly. - Support deployment and orchestration of LLM, GenAI, and Agentic AI applications. - Continuously improve infrastructure reliability, deployment automation, and engineering best practices. ## Qualifications - 4–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a similar role. - Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. - Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. - Good understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience with production cloud deployments. - Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, API gateways, and integrations. - Solid knowledge of infrastructure fundamentals, networking, load balancing, and security. - Experience with production monitoring, observability tools, and alerting systems. - Ability to independently manage applications from development through deployment, testing, and production. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Educational qualifications such as a BTech, BSc, MSc, or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. ## Preferred Skills - Exposure to LLMs, Generative AI, or Agentic AI platforms. - Understanding of agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, Azure AI Foundry, or similar. - Experience deploying Python or FastAPI-based applications. - Familiarity with LLM observability, tracing, token/cost monitoring, and API management. - Experience working in early-stage or fast-growing technology environments. ## Experience - 4–5 years of relevant professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles. - Proven track record of deploying and managing AI or cloud-native applications at scale. ## Environment This role is suited for a high-ownership, fast-paced environment.
