UI Programmer (Malta/Remote)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implementingand testing of game UI functionality based on design and artrequirements, using Unreal 4 or custom engines.
• Writeclean, professional and maintainable code
• Continuousrefinement and optimization of existing code
• Communicationand collaboration with other team members in different departments(e.g. Art, Design, Production)
• Proactivelyproblem-solve performance and stability issues when necessary relatedto UI
• Identifybugs and issues and suggest solutions to mitigate problems, together withQuality Assurance
• Implementing UIart assets into the game in collaboration with UI Artists and UXdesigners.

REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science orsimilar discipline or equivalent work experience
• Advanced C++ programming skills
• 3 years of experience in using Unreal4 especially in the following:
• UMG and Slate
• Blueprints
• Widget Blueprints
• Hands on experience with UE4 UIoptimization
• Familiar with modern practices ofobject-oriented programming and processes

BONUSQUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience at a professional video game company
• Experience optimizing C++ for performance
• Experience with multithreaded systems
• Experience with the NoesisGUI framework
• Familiarity with Git or other modern SCM bestpractices
